Photos I Found #4: In the Theatre

The next roll of found film is about theatre. The photos seem to have been taken at and around the organisation of a play for the Avignon festival in the 70s. I know nothing about the play itself, except that it involves a lot of physicality.

Preparing the play

The negatives are un better condition than the ones from the previous roll.

The first step seems to have been a lot of discussions. I’m wondering if the play was written by the students themselves and a lot needed to negotiated and ironed out before the play.

More discussions

The next step was guerrilla advertising throughout the town.

And finally the play.

As this is the internet, have a 70s cat on me.
