Not too many photos today, I used the TLR a bit and I didn’t bring the equipment to process in the field, so these will have to wait. Today we went for a walk in Iznajar, a nearby town.

Before you can visit Iznajar, you need to be worthy and climb.

A lot…

The view over the artificial lake from the town iw worth it, though.

You’re allowed a drink at the top.

They of course know what is the first thing you’re going to do at the top. So they have a phone holder to take a selfie.

Here is a view of Iznajar and its castle. It’s very popular with tourists. Strangely enough, my godmother comes here every year. I only learned about it when my mother mentioned our house nearby and she knew the area.

Practicing layers and depth.

Annoyingly, there was a rubbish bin right of the frame, so I couldn’t center things the way I wanted. But I think the photo still works.

More stairs. You can’t live here unless you’re fit enough. You constantly go up and down.

Most of the streets are fairly typical of Southern Spain, except even more narrow than in most places. We went down that tiny street with a right angle at the top the last time we were here.

The high season with its insane number of tourists is over. There are few people in the street now.

I couldn’t resist framing the street behind that wall with the arch.

Interesting patterns in the street, very suitable for monochrome.

A lot of streets have their walls covered in plant pots.

View over the next village. I liked the triangular composition with a leading line into it.

Walking back down the rock.

The wind says goodbye.

See you another day.
