Having no time for much today, I couldn’t go out to take photos until it was too dark. I had to limit myself to taking a few shots on my way back from work.
I liked the scene below near the office because of the symmetry of the 3 posts, the bicycles on the signs on both sides, the cyclist coming into view.

Industrial installations always create interesting photos.

These benches are really interesting texture-wide: wood, concrete, and a tiny bit of plastic.

I liked the contrast between these two vehicles. The 50mm setting on the phone forces a tight crop bit it creates a triangular composition, so what’s not to like?

That is a seriously old Volvo. No attempt at clever composition here, just admiring the car.

Shadow selfie!

I discovered a Scooter cemetery round a corner. I framed it to have the scooter in a triangle. I realised too late that I had cropped off the handle bars of the one on the left. The shadows only added interest.

The poor scooters have a message underneath: “help me up please”. I found it very sad. I know they’re things with no feelings.

For some reason a frame in the office has those screws hanging from it in a bag. It doesn’t inspire confidence. What are they supposed to do? Should I be worried to sit on the nearest chair?

Instead of taking photos, I went out for dinner for the first time this week. Normally, when my wife is with me, we eat of lot of Indian food. She loves it and we can’t really get it easily where we live (the nearest restaurant is quite far). Strangely, the appetiser is pop corn. That’s only Indian restaurant I know that does that. Usually, it’s poppadom.

I’m not very original when it comes to Indian food, especially since I’m vegetarian and in Norway, meat is everywhere. I had Tadka Dal (I didn’t notice a difference with the more common Tarka Dal).

You can’t have Indian food without mango lassi.

See you another day.
