I’m still trying to identify why I like Substack so much more than other social platforms. So navel gazing warning is in place.
One of the things that annoyed me with Substack is the fact that the various people writing on it do so for duplicates of themselves.
Last weekend, I picked up one of our cars that had been slightly modified. I decided I wanted to take photos of it for fun, and they turned out quite fun to make and interesting.
This is tunnel under the Grand Trianon in Versailles. Probably used by servants to move around without being seen.
I loved the stone work and the wood floor with lots of details and texture.
Going over old photos, I spotted this one. It was taken on the 15/07/2006 with the Canon 350D + Sigma 10-20mm (my standard landscape shooting gear at the time). I liked it because the wreck looks like a beached whale.
I converted it to monochrome years ago, but I wasn’t entirely happy with the result. So I processed it again.
