A stroll at Sunset

As the weather was nice, it’s been spring for a while here now, we decided to go for a sunset stroll last night. I took my Sony RX100III for this walk because it’s small and easy.

The sun is setting, time for a walk

The flowers are out, the trees are turning green, the grass is growing like crazy (ask my wife).

I don’t know my flowers

The patterns in the road looked interesting.

My wife pretty much always walks ahead of me because I stop a lot for photos. And then just when I catch up, I stop again.

The hedges haven’t all started to flower yet. This one is still in winter mode but was trimmed during the winter.

The clouds were making interesting shapes.

The young vines were planted during the winter. But as they’re small and tender, they need to be protected with plastic cylinders from the deers. This one looks like an interloper in the field.

These clouds reminded me of the aliens’ ship’s arrival in the TV series V (1983).

Cloud or spaceship?

I wasn’t entirely successful with this one. I wanted the flower framed by the vines in the background, but in monochrome it doesn’t stand out enough.
