I don’t have a date or location for these photos. The box doesn’t say anything. Looking at them, I’d say maybe 70s.

This roll clearly is a holiday roll by the sea. The negatives are quite damaged and I haven’t cleaned the scans. It feels like they’ve been looked at or printed many times.

I think this might be our photographer. He looks familiar and kind of like a little bit older from the fuzzy photo in a previous roll from 1966.


What is great about found photos is that you were never supposed to see them. They were made in an era when photos were on negatives and only shown to close family or friends. Strangers, and the internet was never considered.









What’s really fun in the following photo is that the people in it are looking at small photos. I wonder if I have those somewhere in the box.






These photos make me think that this might have been a day out to an island.
